Amritsar, Punjab, India, November 2025 — Shivendra Singh has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at IHG Hotels & Resorts, marking a significant step in his decade-long journey in hospitality human resources. With his deep expertise in people management, hotel operations, and employee engagement, Shivendra will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy, talent development, and culture at IHG’s properties in India.
Shivendra has been with IHG Hotels & Resorts for over three years, most recently serving as Human Resources Manager at voco Jim Corbett, where he led multiple HR initiatives that strengthened organizational capability and improved employee retention. Before that, he managed HR operations at Holiday Inn Katra Vaishno Devi, where he was responsible for recruitment, training, and performance management, contributing to service excellence and brand consistency.
Earlier in his career, he served as Human Resources Manager at ITC Hotels in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, where he honed his expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR compliance within a luxury hospitality environment. Prior to ITC, he was Assistant Human Resources Manager at St Laurn Hotels & Resorts in Pune, focusing on employee relations, policy implementation, and organizational culture enhancement.
His HR journey began with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited, and Radisson Blu Haridwar, where he built a strong foundation in HR coordination, performance systems, and frontline engagement practices. Over the years, Shivendra has developed a reputation for driving HR transformation with empathy and operational insight across diverse hospitality brands.
An alumnus of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, Shivendra holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services, equipping him with both academic grounding and practical experience in strategic HR leadership.
