Cairo, Egypt, November 2025 – Abdul Latif Jameel, a globally diversified business group with over eight decades of leadership across multiple industries, has announced the appointment of Shorouk Sadek as Head of Talent Acquisition Capability Excellence and Workforce Planning. With an extensive career spanning more than 17 years in human resources leadership, talent acquisition, and organizational development, Shorouk brings deep regional experience and strategic insight to this critical role.
In her new position, she will lead the development of enterprise-wide talent acquisition capabilities, workforce planning systems, and recruitment excellence frameworks, supporting Abdul Latif Jameel’s continued growth and transformation across its global network.
Before joining Abdul Latif Jameel, Shorouk Sadek served at HSA Group for nearly seven years, where she advanced from Senior Talent Management Manager & HR Business Partner to Human Resources Director – Talent Acquisition/HRBP Commercial SBU. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in building talent ecosystems, designing strategic workforce solutions, and leading organizational development initiatives that aligned with the Group’s business vision across regional markets.
Earlier, she worked at Advanced Computer Technology (ACT) as Talent Management Manager & HR Business Partner Manager, where she contributed to enhancing HR processes, leadership pipelines, and organizational culture during a period of significant business expansion.
Before ACT, Shorouk spent over three years at Juhayna Food Industries, one of Egypt’s leading FMCG companies, where she served as HR Business Partner and Group Team Leader, Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition. She played a key role in designing people frameworks, competency models, and culture programs aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.
Her earlier experience includes impactful roles at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the National Employment Pact, and JOBMASTER Human Capital Solutions, where she developed strong foundations in recruitment strategy, organizational capability development, and workforce planning.
