Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Shreyas Haridas has been promoted into an expanded leadership role as HR Director, JAPAC and SAMEA at Spotify, taking charge of human resources strategy across Japan, Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East and Africa — some of Spotify’s most culturally diverse and fastest-growing markets globally.
Shreyas has been leading Spotify’s HR transformation across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa for over three years, driving people strategy, workforce planning, leadership development and culture integration across multiple high-growth geographies. His expanded mandate now extends to the broader JAPAC region, where he leads HR for Spotify’s teams across Africa, Asia and Australia.
Earlier, he served as AVP – Human Resources at Nomura, where he led India HR Business Partnering for technology teams and served as the Global Compensation and Talent Management lead for technology functions, shaping enterprise-wide people and rewards frameworks.
Prior to Nomura, he was HR Business Partner at Disney Star, partnering with CFO, CIO, General Counsel and sales operations leaders, while also co-leading university hiring and talent programs for legal and finance functions.
He earlier served as HR Business Partner at Reliance Industries Limited, supporting group-level functions and large-scale workforce programs across the conglomerate.
