Public Enterprise Selection Board on 11th March 2024 announced the appointment of Shri Debi Prasad Satpathy as Director of Human Resources at BEML Limited, a premier multi-technology ‘Schedule A’ company playing a crucial role in India’s Defence, Rail, Power, Mining, and Construction sectors.
With an extensive career spanning over two decades in human resources management, Satpathy’s expertise is set to further strengthen BEML’s HR strategies and practices.
Before stepping into this pivotal role, Satpathy served as Executive Director at BEML for three months, following a commendable tenure as Chief General Manager, where he led significant HR initiatives for nearly four years. His journey at BEML began in March 2011, where he climbed the ranks from Assistant General Manager to Deputy General Manager of Human Resources, demonstrating exceptional leadership and a profound understanding of organizational development and employee engagement.
Satpathy’s experience outside BEML includes a vital role as General Manager of Human Resources at Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd, where he spearheaded HR policies and practices that significantly contributed to the organization’s workforce development and operational excellence. Prior to his illustrious tenure at BEML and Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd, Satpathy honed his HR skills at Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd for over 13 years, serving in various capacities from Assistant Manager to Manager of Industrial Relations & Personnel Management.
