Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, September 2025 — Shubhara Pillai has been appointed as General Manager at Swiss Parenterals Ltd (Eris Lifesciences). In her new role, she will lead strategic initiatives across international sales, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and business development to strengthen the company’s global footprint.
Before this appointment, Shubhara built an accomplished career at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where she held multiple leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Deputy General Manager, bringing her expertise in regulatory coordination, sales, in-licensing and out-licensing, and new product development. Earlier at Cadila, she worked as Assistant General Manager, where she advanced strategic projects, managed client relations, and strengthened global business partnerships. Prior to that, as Senior Manager – International Marketing, she contributed to regulatory operations and the introduction of new products across multiple geographies. She also served as Manager – Marketing International, where she played a vital role in managing African partners through promotional strategies, regulatory filings, and product launches.
Earlier in her career, Shubhara held key roles at Shelys Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Senior Manager – Customer Relations and Business Development Manager, where she was instrumental in strengthening customer relations and supporting new product development.
She also gained valuable experience at Novartis India Ltd as a Product Specialist, contributing to the successful launch of the cardiovascular brand Diovan, and was adjudged Star Performer twice. Additionally, she worked as a Pharmaceutical Manager at Bytrade Tanzania Ltd, handling the company’s pharma division with responsibilities ranging from sales planning to product registration with TFDA.
Shubhara began her career at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as a Service Officer, where she promoted cardiac and diabetic products across leading hospitals in New Delhi and drove community health initiatives such as CMEs and medical camps.
With her deep expertise across regulatory affairs, international marketing, and product development, Shubhara is well-positioned to drive Swiss Parenterals Ltd’s growth and innovation in global healthcare markets.
