Gurugram, Haryana, India, August 2025 – Shubhashish Banerjee has taken over as Vice President – Human Resources at Ginesys, where he will spearhead the strategic HR agenda for the organization. In this pivotal role, he will lead initiatives across talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and culture transformation, aligning people strategies with business goals to drive organizational growth.
Prior to joining Ginesys, Shubhashish served as Head of Human Resources at 4700BC, where he was responsible for the complete HR ecosystem including compensation, benefits, systems, and analytics. His role focused on building a strong talent pipeline and data-driven people operations.
Earlier, he worked with Unicommerce as Head – Talent & Culture, driving HR transformation for India’s largest e-commerce supply chain SaaS platform. He had a significant tenure at Snapdeal, where over four years he held multiple leadership roles including Associate Director – Human Resources, Senior Manager – Talent Management & OD, and Manager – HRBP & L&D. His responsibilities spanned employer branding, leadership development, and organizational design.
Before Snapdeal, he was Deputy Manager – HR at GHCL Limited, contributing to initiatives in L&D, cultural transformation, and HR operations. He also held HR roles at Oerlikon, DishTV, and Artech, building expertise across OD, PMS, and staffing functions.
He holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from Amity University and is a published writer, having authored insightful perspectives on professional empathy and the evolving role of HR.
