Gurgaon, India, September 2024 – Amit Singh has been appointed as the Country General Manager – Talent Acquisition at ACME Group, a global leader in sustainable and renewable energy. In this role, Amit will spearhead the talent acquisition strategy for the company, ensuring that ACME Group attracts and retains the best talent to support its growth in renewable energy and innovation.
Before joining ACME Group, Amit served as the EC Global Lead for Talent Acquisition & Compensation at AECOM, where he led talent acquisition and compensation strategies for over five years. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving human resource planning and optimizing compensation strategies to align with business goals.
Prior to AECOM, Amit worked at CH2M, where he spent over five years as the Senior Lead for Talent Acquisition, overseeing hiring operations across India, Poland, and the Middle East. His expertise in recruitment and HR strategy was pivotal in expanding the workforce at CH2M, which was later acquired by Jacobs.
Amit’s earlier experience includes his role at Doosan, where he led talent acquisition for India, the UK, and South Korea. He managed end-to-end recruitment processes and drove HR initiatives to support the company’s growth in these regions.
In the initial stages of his career, Amit held key positions at Vardeep Petrochemical Pvt Ltd and Lurgi, where he gained substantial experience in talent acquisition, HR strategy, and compensation management. His career has been marked by a consistent focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and driving efficiency in recruitment processes.
