His extensive global experience positions him well to lead Diageo’s continued expansion and strengthen its presence across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Diageo, Sujay Wasan built an exceptional career spanning nearly 28 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he held numerous senior global and regional leadership positions across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia, and the Middle East.

Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Leader – P&G Oral Care North America, leading the company’s US$5 billion Oral Care business with end-to-end P&L responsibility across research and development, manufacturing, product supply, sales, commercial operations, and organizational leadership. He was responsible for driving growth across globally recognized brands including Crest, Oral-B, and Fixodent, while leading an organization of more than 2,000 employees.

Before that, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Leader – P&G HealthCare North America, where he led the company’s nearly US$3 billion Personal Health Care business across North America. He was responsible for overall business strategy, commercial execution, innovation, portfolio management, and sustained growth across leading healthcare brands including Vicks, Prilosec OTC, Pepto Bismol, Metamucil, Align, and Nervive.

Earlier, Sujay served as Chief Executive Officer – Personal Health Care International, leading P&G’s international healthcare business across more than 100 countries following the integration of the Merck Consumer Health acquisition. In this role, he oversaw a business valued at approximately US$2.5 billion, leading more than 5,000 employees across Asia, Europe, and Latin America while driving integration, commercial expansion, and organizational transformation.

During his distinguished career at P&G, he also served as Senior Vice President – Teva Joint Venture Asia, Middle East & Africa, Vice President & Head of Marketing and Brand Operations – ASEAN, Vice President – Australia & New Zealand, Vice President – Feminine Care ANZ/ASEAN/India/Japan/Korea, Senior Director – Global Feminine Care, Brand Director – Feminine Care ANZ/ASEAN/India, Brand Director – DACH, Brand Manager – Western Europe Snack & Beverage, Assistant Brand Manager – Global Design & Expansion, and European Sales Manager. Across these leadership assignments, he successfully drove regional expansion, business transformation, innovation, marketing excellence, category development, organizational capability, and profitable growth across multiple global markets.

With extensive international leadership experience across consumer goods, healthcare, commercial strategy, and business transformation, Sujay Wasan is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Diageo’s Asia Pacific business and drive the company’s continued regional growth and market leadership.
