Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, December 2025 – Shweta Uppal has taken on a new leadership role as Deputy General Manager Human Resources at Jakson Group, a diversified energy and infrastructure conglomerate. In her new capacity, she will be responsible for driving organizational development, culture shaping, onboarding, and employee engagement, while collaborating closely with business leaders to build high-performing, people-centric workplaces.
Shweta Uppal brings a wealth of experience across HR, learning and development, and strategic talent consulting. Prior to joining Jakson Group, she held several senior HR positions over a 12-year tenure at Concentrix, culminating in the role of Manager – Learning and Development. She led professional and leadership development initiatives, worked on organizational culture building, and introduced diversity and performance coaching interventions across multiple business verticals.
Before Concentrix, she spent over 15 years with IBM Global Process Services, where she held diverse roles including Project Manager, Learning Partner, and Assistant Manager – Recruitment. Her work spanned stakeholder management across global geographies, project execution, leadership training, and recruitment for middle management—demonstrating her versatility in HR leadership.
Earlier in her career, Shweta worked as a Senior Trainer at WNS Global Services for four years, where she focused on soft skills and process training across transitioned business functions. Her entry into the corporate world began at Convergys, where she spent over three years in a customer-facing role, gaining foundational experience in operations and service delivery.
