Career Journey at Atlantic Partners Asia Simon joined Atlantic Partners Asia in November 2022, initially serving as the Chief Administrative Officer. Over ten months, he effectively led global operations, technology, transformation, finance, compliance, legal, risk, people, and culture. His strategic vision was pivotal in aligning these functions with the company’s global objectives, ensuring robust operational health and governance.
Previous Experience Before joining Atlantic Partners Asia, Simon was deeply involved in various significant roles. Most notably, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Enhanced Investment Products in Hong Kong, where he managed executive functions, asset management, and strategic executions from June 2022 to September 2022.
Prior to this, Simon was with AXA Investment Managers for over eighteen years, culminating in his role as Chief Operating Officer (Asia Pacific). During his tenure from November 2012 to October 2021, he oversaw the regional operations across various functions, contributing to significant strategic initiatives and transformations that bolstered AXA IM’s presence and capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.
Earlier Career Summary Simon’s career also includes a notable tenure as the Chief Operating Officer (UK) at AXA Investment Managers from June 2008 to December 2012. His strategic oversight improved operational efficiencies and compliance across the UK operations. Earlier roles include positions at Hartley’s as a Senior Advisor in Wealth Management and at the Victorian Bar as a Barrister at Law, where he honed his expertise in legal and financial services.
