Toronto, Ontario, Canada, September 2024 – Sloane Cox has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Carrier Enterprise Canada.
Prior to joining Carrier Enterprise Canada, Sloane served as Senior Director of Corporate Human Resources at SCI Group Inc. for nearly two years.
Before SCI Group, Sloane took on an entrepreneurial role as a Human Resources Consultant at her own firm, coxHR, where she provided flexible HR solutions to businesses. Her consultancy offered services in talent acquisition, change management, and HR policies, helping organizations navigate transitions and optimize their workforce strategies over the course of nearly two and a half years.
Earlier, Sloane spent nine years at Indigo, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). In this role, she drove initiatives around diversity and inclusion while leading HR operations across the organization.
Her earlier career includes roles at Canadian Tire Corporation, where she served as Manager of Talent, and at Conagra Brands, where she worked as a Human Resources Manager. Her tenure at these organizations further honed her skills in performance management, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning.
