Atlanta, Georgia, United States, May 2024 – Stacey DeWeese has been named the new Chief Operating Officer at Skyland Trail, a leading nonprofit mental health treatment organization. Starting this May, Stacey will manage the operational strategy and enhance the service delivery that supports the facility’s renowned mental health treatment programs.
Bringing over two decades of healthcare operations experience, Stacey joins Skyland Trail from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she held multiple leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President of System Operations from September 2019 to November 2022. In this role, she was instrumental in leading significant operational functions across the organization, managing critical areas such as Emergency Services and Patient Logistics.
Prior to her senior vice presidency, Stacey served as Vice President of Operations, where she was responsible for a range of services including Nursing Operations and Operative Services from June 2015 to August 2019. Her leadership helped to expand service capacities and enhance patient care standards across the organization.
Her earlier roles at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta involved managing Neurosciences and Orthopedics as Vice President from May 2014 to May 2015, where she supported the development of a Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and led strategic planning for the Neurosciences service line.
