New York City, New York, United States, November 2025 – New Tradition, one of the fastest-growing media companies in the United States and a Blackstone portfolio company, has announced the appointment of Stacey Jaffe Wachtfogel as its new Chief People Officer.
In her new role, Stacey will lead New Tradition’s people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture across its national operations, supporting the company’s mission to empower brands to #MakeAStatement through premium Out-of-Home (OOH) media in top U.S. markets. With an extensive career in organizational leadership, human capital management, and business transformation, she brings a proven record of aligning talent strategies with business growth and creative excellence.
Before joining New Tradition, Stacey served as Chief People Officer at Kernel Foods, partnering with the company’s founders — including the creator of Chipotle and the co-founder of Peloton — to revolutionize the food industry through automation, robotics, and technology. In this role, she shaped culture, HR strategy, and leadership practices for a next-generation food-tech organization redefining employee experience and operational excellence.
Prior to that, she was CHRO and SVP of People at Gotham Greens, a global leader in urban agriculture and sustainable food systems. During her four-year tenure, Stacey drove HR transformation, culture development, acquisition integration, and strategic leadership, helping scale the company’s operations and workforce across multiple regions.
Her earlier leadership includes serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Makovsky, where she was recognized as the HR Executive of the Year multiple times between 2015 and 2018 for her exceptional leadership in culture transformation and organizational strategy.
She has also held senior HR roles at MSLGROUP New York, Accenture, Mastercard, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, and UBS, gaining deep expertise in talent acquisition, culture integration, and global HR operations across industries.
Stacey holds an MS in Management and Human Resources from The New School and has been recognized for her leadership in HR innovation, transformation, and talent strategy throughout her distinguished career.
