Pleasanton, California, United States – November 2024 – Stephanie Montanez has joined Vagaro as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new role, Stephanie will lead Vagaro’s HR strategy, focusing on talent development, organizational culture, and compliance as Vagaro continues to empower businesses in the beauty, fitness, and wellness sectors.
Prior to Vagaro, Stephanie served as Vice President of Human Resources & Compliance at GLS US. Over her four-year tenure, she directed all HR functions and oversaw compliance, safety, and post-merger integration, helping to align HR strategies with corporate goals during a period of growth and change.
Before GLS, she was the Director of Human Resources and Operations at Bowman & Company, LLP, where she streamlined HR operations and professional development initiatives. Her previous experience also includes serving as Director of Operations Support at Vituity, managing multi-functional teams across training, quality assurance, and HR support for over a decade, during which she significantly impacted organizational development and HR strategy.
Stephanie’s career in HR began at Collins Electrical Company, Inc. and Eastman Kodak Company, where she built her expertise in HR operations, payroll, and process improvement for union and non-union employees, honing skills in compliance, employee relations, and talent management.
