Seattle, Washington, United States, June 2024 – Stephanie Thompson has joined CommerceIQ as the new Head of Talent Acquisition. With an extensive background in talent acquisition and management, Stephanie will lead the recruitment strategies to support the company’s growth and talent development initiatives.
Before joining CommerceIQ, Stephanie served as the Co-founder and Principal Recruiter at HireLabs, Inc. for over 24 years. In this role, she led a boutique recruiting firm specializing in startups in the US and Canada, providing comprehensive recruitment services and strategic consulting to various clients. She played a pivotal role in setting up in-house recruiting processes and full-cycle recruiting for technical, sales, marketing, administrative, and executive positions.
Prior to her long tenure at HireLabs, Inc., Stephanie was the Head of Talent Management at Fulfil from September 2021 to September 2022. Here, she worked with a rapidly growing company developing automation robotics systems for the food supply chain, contributing significantly to the company’s talent acquisition and management strategies.
Stephanie also served as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Blue Origin from April 2020 to September 2021, where she managed the recruitment for technical roles, helping the company meet its hiring targets efficiently.
Her career includes a significant role at Amazon, where she was the Senior Client Lead Recruiter from January 2008 to February 2010. She was instrumental in turning around a business unit that had missed recruiting targets for over five years, achieving the targets in just over ten months.
Stephanie’s extensive experience also includes positions such as Recruiting Manager at Amdocs, Recruiting Manager at Qpass, Sr. Recruiter at Starbucks Coffee Company, and Sr. Recruiter at PROdX. Her early career at these organizations provided her with a strong foundation in talent acquisition and HR management.
