Prior to joining JH, Steve served as Head of Digital Delivery at Opia, a high-growth sales promotion agency. He led a comprehensive change management program that scaled operations without expanding headcount, leveraged AI for translations and automation, and reduced launch costs by more than 50%. His leadership earned him the Leadership Impact Award in 2023, reflecting his success in building empowered, agile, and efficient delivery teams.
Previously, Steve worked at Scott Logic for nearly five years as Delivery Manager, where he led large-scale digital transformation projects in the financial and public sectors. He was instrumental in driving ISO9001 quality certification and establishing self-managed teams aligned to long-term value creation for clients.
Earlier roles include operational leadership as COO and Head of Service Delivery at both Convivio Team Ltd and Wunder, where Steve pioneered delivery playbooks, aligned project standards across multinational teams, and achieved ISO certifications in quality and information security. At Code Enigma, he served as Projects and Quality Manager, delivering large-scale Agile projects for major clients like ITV, Economist, and the British Council while implementing robust quality systems.
Steve’s earlier career included senior development and operations roles at News UK, CSC, Ethical Superstore, and Eagle Star, where he led eCommerce and CMS projects at the intersection of technology, creativity, and operational excellence.
