Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Subhasis Mishra has been appointed as Vice President, Human Resources at Schneider Electric, bringing extensive expertise in HR leadership, talent acquisition, and organizational development. In his new role, he will oversee HR strategies for Schneider Electric’s Global R&D and Digital organizations in India, working closely with business leaders to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Subhasis held multiple leadership roles at Amazon, most recently serving as Head of Talent Acquisition – Asia Pacific for Amazon Entertainment, where he led hiring strategies for Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Amazon Games. He was instrumental in scaling talent acquisition operations, attracting top talent in technology, business, and creative domains, and driving global strategic initiatives. Before this, he served as Head of Talent Acquisition for Amazon India, overseeing hiring strategies across Amazon’s consumer business, including e-commerce, Amazon Pay, Advertising, and Entertainment, while driving DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives to strengthen workforce diversity.
Earlier, Subhasis was Director & Head of Talent Acquisition at Target India, where he played a pivotal role in streamlining HR processes and scaling hiring strategies. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at The Walt Disney Company in various HR leadership roles, including HR Leader for Studio Technology and Global Distribution in the U.S., and Head of HR for India & Southeast Asia, leading talent acquisition, compensation management, and learning & development across multiple regions.
Before joining Disney, Subhasis held HR leadership positions at Star TV and Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company, where he was responsible for HR operations, workforce management, and leadership development. His broad industry experience spanning media, technology, retail, and financial services has equipped him with deep expertise in talent strategy, change management, and people development.
