Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Hemant Gad has been appointed as Vice President, Human Resources at Heranba Industries Ltd, bringing over two decades of HR leadership, industrial relations, and workforce management experience. In this role, he will lead the HR strategy, employee engagement, labor relations, and talent management for the organization, ensuring operational efficiency across its manufacturing facilities.
Before joining Heranba Industries Ltd, Hemant served as General Manager – Corporate HR (Head – HR) at Vinati Organics Limited for over 13 years, overseeing HR operations across three manufacturing plants with a workforce of 1,350 regular employees and 800 contract laborers. He played a critical role in maintaining industrial peace, managing statutory compliance, handling contract labor administration, and implementing HR strategies to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
Prior to that, Hemant was Assistant Manager – HR & Administration at Rieter India Private Ltd., where he managed two manufacturing units and successfully implemented the SAP HR Module and Kronos Workforce Management system. He played a key role in employee induction, orientation programs, statutory compliance, and labor cost optimization.
Earlier in his career, Hemant held HR leadership roles at Associated Capsules Pvt. Ltd. and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, where he managed HR operations for large-scale manufacturing plants, developed workforce policies, and streamlined labor compliance. His extensive experience in union negotiations, HR audits, training & development, and employee relations has positioned him as a strategic HR leader in the manufacturing sector.
