Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 – Subramanian M has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Shree NM Electricals Limited, India’s largest distributor of electrical supplies. In his new role, he will be spearheading strategic HR initiatives across the organization, enhancing talent strategies, and aligning people practices with business growth across 11 states and 22 warehouses.
Before joining Shree NM Electricals Limited, Subramanian served as General Manager at Welspun Corp Limited for over three years, where he contributed significantly to HR operations and talent initiatives at the Mumbai headquarters. He played a key role in integrating people practices during a time of scale and transformation.
Prior to this, he held the role of Assistant General Manager – Talent Acquisition at Welspun Group for over a decade. He was a key member of the SAP HCM implementation team and led end-to-end recruitment for senior and top-level positions across business verticals operating in 50+ countries.
Earlier, he worked as Assistant General Manager – HR at Viraj Group, where he led recruitment operations, launched a successful internal referral scheme, and drove campus hiring programs. His responsibilities also included designing recruitment plans aligned with business strategy and SLAs.
Subramanian’s HR journey also includes valuable experience with Welspun Corp Ltd as Manager – HR and Ispat Industries Ltd as Assistant Manager – HR, where he laid the foundation of his strong HR acumen in high-growth industrial environments.
