Kolkata, West Bengal, India, June 2025 – Sudhansu Sekhar Sarangi has been elevated to the position of Vice President – Human Resources at Kotak Mahindra Bank. In this new role, he will lead Talent Acquisition for Branch Banking, Digital Banking, and Rural Banking across East and South India, contributing to the bank’s strategic workforce planning and people expansion goals.
Sudhansu Sekhar Sarangi has spent over seven years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, steadily progressing through key HR leadership roles. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Deputy Vice President – Human Resources, Associate Vice President – Human Resources, and Senior Manager – Human Resources, where he built a strong foundation in recruitment, talent management, and business HR partnerships across multiple geographies.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sudhansu spent more than four years at L&T Financial Services, holding roles including Senior Manager, Manager, and Assistant Manager – Human Resources. His responsibilities included recruitment, compensation, HR compliance, attrition analysis, and performance management, reflecting his broad HR capabilities in a high-growth financial services environment.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. as Executive – Human Resources, where he gained experience in retail HR operations and talent support functions for the fast-moving consumer services sector. He began his HR journey with YES Bank as a Trainee – Human Capital Management, covering the West and South zones.
