Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, December 2025 — Sulaxmi Prasad has taken on an expanded leadership mandate as Group Chief Strategy Officer at Taylor’s Education Group, effective January 1, 2026, while continuing her role as Group Chief People Officer. In this dual leadership capacity, she will work closely with the Board, Presidents, and leadership teams across the Group to drive long-term strategy, portfolio alignment, capital prioritisation, and organisational capability building across Taylor’s diverse education portfolio spanning schools, colleges, universities and new ventures.
Her expanded role reflects Taylor’s Education Group’s belief that strategy and people are deeply interconnected, ensuring that business ambition, talent capability and organisational execution are tightly aligned to deliver sustained impact at scale.
Sulaxmi Prasad has been associated with Taylor’s Education Group for over two years, serving as Group Chief People Officer, where she leads the people and culture agenda across higher education and K-12 institutions in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Her work has focused on driving talent transformation, organisational capability building, and embedding agile, digital-first HR frameworks.
She also serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Taylor’s University, where she has led comprehensive, institution-wide transformation programmes covering academic excellence, research innovation, student experience and operational effectiveness, strengthening Taylor’s position as a leader in higher education.
Prior to joining Taylor’s, Sulaxmi held senior regional leadership roles at ZALORA Group, where she built scalable people centres of excellence across talent acquisition, employer branding, rewards, learning and people analytics.
Her earlier career includes strategic HR and rewards leadership roles at Herbalife Nutrition, Digi Telecommunications, Willis Towers Watson, Agoda, Mercer, Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services, spanning APAC, global compensation, HR technology, analytics and organisational development.
She is a Member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and Beta Gamma Sigma, and holds an MBA (Honors) in Finance & Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a Post Graduate Program in Human Resources from the School of Inspired Leadership.
