New Delhi, India, September 2024 – Sumita C. Majumdar has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at International Travel House Limited. She succeeds PVD Nandan, who retired on 30th August after a successful tenure of 2 years at the company and an illustrious career of 17 years with the ITC Group. Sumita C. Majumdar brings over 20 years of enriching experience with ITC Group companies to her new role.

Sumita C. Majumdar recently joined International Travel House Limited as Head of Human Resources in September 2024. In this role, she will be responsible for shaping and leading the HR strategy to support the company’s growth and operational goals.

Prior to this, Sumita served as Head of HR & Training at Fortune Park Hotels Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd. At Fortune Park Hotels, she managed HR and training functions, contributing significantly to organizational development and employee engagement.

Before her role at Fortune Park Hotels, Sumita was Head of Human Resources at ITC Hotels – Sheraton New Delhi Hotel. In this position, she led the HR team, focused on labor law compliance, process improvement, and employer branding.

Sumita also served as Lead – Talent Management & Talent Development at ITC Limited, where she was instrumental in managing talent and development programs across the Hotels Division.

Earlier in her career, Sumita worked as Manager HR at Tata Consultancy Services (previously CMC Limited), where she managed HR operations and supported various organizational initiatives.
