In this pivotal role, Susan will lead the strategic people initiatives at Fenwick, focusing on nurturing talent and fostering an inclusive and innovative culture aligned with Fenwick’s multichannel growth and transformation plans.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Susan held the dual role of Chief People & Legal Officer at Hush, where she oversaw HR and legal functions, driving organizational effectiveness and compliance. Her experience in balancing people management with legal insights uniquely positions her to support Fenwick’s strategic goals.
Previously, Susan served as People & Legal Director at Planet Organic Ltd, contributing to the company’s mission-driven retail environment by advancing its HR and legal operations. She played a critical role in structuring people processes that aligned with the company’s growth and cultural values.
Susan has a wealth of experience from her time at England Lacrosse as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Additionally, she founded Clario Legal & HR, offering consulting services that bridge HR and legal expertise. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at DP World Tour and Oriel Securities and served as an employment lawyer at top firms such as Nabarro LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, and Taylor Wessing.
