Prior to joining Colorado State University, Hua served at the Community College of Aurora, where she notably led the institution’s DEI efforts as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Her tenure at these institutions underscored her commitment to enhancing student engagement and success through targeted DEI initiatives.

Colorado State University, founded in 1870, stands as a beacon of academic excellence and innovation. Renowned for its research prowess in areas such as infectious disease, atmospheric science, clean energy technologies, and environmental science, the university attracts significant research funding and hosts a vibrant community of scholars and students committed to making a difference.
