Tel Aviv, Israel, March 2025 – Tamara Kaye has taken on a new role as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Wake-up Cyber, a global cyber security consulting firm renowned for its expertise in securing critical digital infrastructures across industries. In her new position, Tamara is responsible for spearheading information security strategy and operations, with a strong focus on applying advanced automation and AI-based approaches to safeguard clients from evolving threats.
Tamara joins Wake-up Cyber after accumulating a rich and diverse background in cybersecurity. Most recently, she served as a DevOps Engineer at Next Insurance, where she gained hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and deploying Kubernetes and Docker environments.
Prior to that, she worked for Check Point Software Technologies as a SOAR Automation Developer for over two years, designing and automating security solutions across network, cloud, and endpoint environments using platforms like Siemplify, Splunk, and Torq.
Earlier in her career, Tamara served with the Israel National Cyber Directorate as a Cyber Security Consultant, where she played a pivotal role in developing cyber awareness programs and supporting international delegations during Israel’s prestigious Cyber Week. Her journey into cybersecurity began with participation in high-impact programs at Unistream and through a unique early-stage product management role focused on innovative driver safety solutions in collaboration with Intel.
