Toronto, Ontario, Canada, September 2024 – Tanja Lauc has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources, Canada at Unilever. In her new role, Tanja will lead HR strategies and initiatives, supporting Unilever’s workforce across Canada. Her expertise in organizational development, strategic HR planning, and talent management will play a crucial role in driving the company’s employee engagement and growth.
Prior to this role, Tanja was the Senior Manager, HRBP & Talent at Unilever, where she spent over two years managing talent and HR business partner strategies across multiple teams. Her work in this position focused on aligning talent initiatives with business goals, ensuring Unilever remained competitive in talent acquisition and development.
Before stepping into this managerial role, Tanja worked as a Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Lead for Canada, where she was instrumental in leading HR projects and driving the talent development framework. Her ability to manage complex HR projects allowed her to lead successful initiatives across various departments within the company.
Earlier in her career at Unilever, Tanja served as a Human Resources Consultant, overseeing the full cycle of HR projects and coaching team members. Her earlier roles also included being a HR Business Partner for Marketing and Manufacturing, where she developed and implemented HR strategies to optimize workforce management.
Before joining Unilever, Tanja gained significant HR experience at Mars, where she served in several roles, including Global Engagement Operations Specialist and HR Generalist. Her diverse experience in both HR strategy and operations prepared her for her leadership role at Unilever.
