Dinesh KR Promoted to Head – Corporate HR at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Dinesh KR has been promoted to the position of Head – Corporate HR at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance (ABSLI). In his new role, he will lead the company’s corporate HR strategy, drive talent transformation, and oversee HR operations to support ABSLI’s expanding workforce and business goals.

Dinesh has been with Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance for approximately six years. Prior to his elevation, he served as Assistant Vice President and earlier as Associate Vice President – Human Resources, where he played a pivotal role in scaling HR operations, driving employee engagement initiatives, and strengthening the talent ecosystem. His earlier experience as Zonal Manager – HRBP at Aditya Birla Payments Bank further reinforced his expertise in HR business partnering and regional workforce strategy.

Before joining the Aditya Birla Group, Dinesh was Associate Vice President – HR at Muthoottu Mini Financiers Ltd, where he led HR for over 6,000 employees across 1,200 branches in India. His responsibilities spanned the entire HR lifecycle, from talent acquisition and payroll to compliance and digital HRMS automation.

He also served as Manager – HR Operations at Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. for four years, where he handled national-level recruitment, performance management, employee movement, grievance redressal, and MIS reporting. His tenure also included vendor management and process design, contributing to operational efficiencies across the company.

Earlier in his career, Dinesh held leadership roles at First Advantage, managing large teams and client operations, and gained foundational experience in finance and customer service through roles at Manappuram Finance, Tata Finance, and Standard Automobiles. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University.
