Taranjit Singh Appointed as Head of Human Resources at Lactinova – Defining Nutrition

Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, India, September 2025 – Lactinova – Defining Nutrition, a leading agro-based company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of nutritional products for bovines, has announced the appointment of Taranjit Singh as its new Head of Human Resources. In this role, he will be responsible for shaping HR strategy, driving people development, and supporting organizational growth across Lactinova’s expanding operations.

Singh joins Lactinova after his tenure at Aakash Educational Services Limited, where he most recently served as Lead HRBP at the Corporate Office. During nearly two years with the company, he also held the role of Regional Head HR for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Rajasthan, where he implemented standardized HR policies, developed employee engagement strategies, and partnered with business leadership to strengthen talent acquisition and workforce planning.

Prior to Aakash, Singh worked with Reliance Retail (Jio Mart Digital) as State HR for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & J&K, where he led HR operations across multiple states, ensuring execution of HR strategies, governance of HR processes, and talent development. He was instrumental in driving initiatives such as R&R frameworks, structured onboarding programs, and learning calendars.

Earlier, Singh served at Jio as Area HR Lead, where he focused on talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership development. He played a key role in supporting organizational expansion and employee engagement programs during the brand’s high-growth years.

His longest tenure was with Idea Cellular Ltd, where he spent nearly 12 years, progressing from Circle HR for J&K to Head – Talent Acquisition & Sales HRBP. In this role, he managed manpower planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and HR operations, significantly contributing to Idea’s HR capability building during a competitive telecom market phase.

Singh began his HR career in 2006 as Manager – HR in Mohali, where he gained foundational expertise in payroll, statutory compliance, grievance handling, and HR audits before moving into large-scale corporate HR leadership roles.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (2008–2010), which further strengthened his expertise in strategic HR management.
