Prior to joining NODWIN Gaming, Teemu served as Chief Growth Officer and earlier as Vice President, Media Business at YaLLa Esports, a leading esports organization based in Dubai. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s media operations, building strategic alliances, and strengthening its commercial capabilities within the region’s fast-evolving esports landscape.

In addition to his corporate roles, Teemu was selected as a mentor at E1H Innovation Hub (Ethara x OneToWatch), the UAE’s first sports and entertainment innovation platform. There, he guided early-stage startups in esports, digital entertainment, and fan engagement on business strategy, monetization, and scalability. His mentorship efforts reflected his commitment to shaping the next generation of MENA-based gaming and tech innovators.

Before relocating to the UAE, Teemu spent nearly 15 years at Elisa, a major Finnish telecommunications and digital services company. As Head of Elisa Esports, he was instrumental in developing the organization’s esports vertical, introducing large-scale tournament operations, and pioneering cross-sector partnerships that connected telecom innovation with competitive gaming. His earlier roles in business development at Elisa equipped him with a strong foundation in market strategy, digital transformation, and operational leadership.

At NODWIN Gaming, Teemu will lead the company’s MENA business unit, focusing on expanding its footprint, fostering local partnerships, and driving innovation in esports and gaming entertainment. His appointment underscores NODWIN’s continued investment in international markets and its vision to become a global leader in the competitive gaming ecosystem.
