Before joining Millbrook Healthcare, Ian served as CIO, Dental & Cromwell Hospital at Bupa, leading a team of over 150 technology professionals across multiple business lines with a combined turnover of over £750 million. During his tenure, he launched digital platforms serving millions of patients, implemented cutting-edge AI and automation tools, and built scalable infrastructure solutions that transformed clinical operations and cybersecurity across Bupa Dental and Cromwell Hospital.
Earlier, Ian held the position of CTO/IT Director at Quorum Network Resources Ltd, where he provided strategic technology leadership to multiple clients across sectors including finance and education. His prior roles also include IT Director at Smiths News and RM plc, where he led significant digital and infrastructure transformations, integrating business systems, improving operational resilience, and delivering strong business growth through technology modernization.
In addition to his corporate roles, Ian serves as a Trustee at the Oral Health Foundation, a leading charity committed to improving oral health globally. He also contributes his expertise as a Fractional CTO at Leppard Distribution Systems LLP, advising on digital and data transformation strategies.
