Chicago, Illinois, United States, February 2025 – Tera Zavala has been promoted to Director of Talent HR at Medix™, marking a significant step in her career with the organization. In this role, Tera will spearhead talent management initiatives, employee relations, and strategic HR operations to further strengthen Medix’s position as a leader in workforce solutions across Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, and Technology fields.
Tera’s impressive career at Medix™ spans over nine years, where she has made significant contributions across various roles. Most recently, she served as Talent HR Manager, where she excelled in employee relations, training, and process improvement, leveraging her expertise to drive impactful change.

Prior to this, Tera was a Talent HR Generalist, demonstrating her ability to handle diverse HR responsibilities, including risk management, performance improvement, and DEI initiatives. Her journey at Medix™ began as a Payroll Coordinator, where she managed payroll systems, auditing processes, and employee training, setting the foundation for her HR career.
Before joining Medix™, Tera honed her skills in the public sector as a Transportation Security Officer at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where she managed training programs, FMLA audits, and employee advisory councils. Her experience at the TSA provided her with a strong foundation in leadership, process improvement, and employee engagement.
