Hiram, Georgia, United States, November 2025 — Terrameka Thomas has stepped into a new role as Director of Human Resources at Interroll Group, taking on strategic leadership of the HR function at the Hiram site. In this elevated role, she guides HR strategy, ensures compliance, strengthens employee experience, and partners closely with senior leadership to support organizational performance and people development.
In her most recent position as HR Manager at Interroll Group, Terrameka spent nearly three years overseeing HR operations in Hiram, Georgia. Her responsibilities included recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and supporting compliance across multiple HR functions. Her leadership contributed to stronger workforce processes, improved communication, and enhanced alignment across departments—laying the foundation for her transition into a senior HR leadership role.
Prior to that, Terrameka served simultaneously as Senior Human Resources Generalist at Interroll Group, where she provided broad HR generalist support across the plant. Her role included supporting employee lifecycle processes, benefits, performance management, and engagement programs. Her contributions during this period strengthened HR systems and positioned her for managerial and subsequently director-level responsibilities.
Before joining Interroll, Terrameka spent over six years with International Paper, progressing from Customer Service Representative II to Human Resources Specialist. Her responsibilities included purchase order management, logistics coordination, and supporting HR functions such as payroll, benefits, safety, and attendance tracking. Her cross-functional exposure helped her build the operational and people-management skills that later shaped her HR career.
Earlier in her career, Terrameka gained diverse experience through roles at Volvo/Saab of Charlotte, Manpower Staffing, Zaxby’s Franchising, Inc., and SKAPS Industries, where she worked in customer service, administrative support, operations consulting, and tax wage deduction. These roles enabled her to develop strong problem-solving skills, operational discipline, stakeholder coordination, and customer-centric capabilities that complement her HR leadership today.
