Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Citi India has announced that Titir Pal has assumed the role of Head of Analytics and Information Management (AIM) following the retirement of RB Rajendar. A seasoned leader with more than 25 years of experience, Titir Pal has built high-performance teams across analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence, with experience spanning financial services, consumer goods, technology, and consulting. As the AIM unit continues to support multiple Citi markets globally with advanced analytics and data-driven capabilities, his appointment marks an important leadership transition for the organization.
Before assuming this role, Titir Pal held several leadership positions at Citi, including Managing Director – AI Champion for COO & Analytics Capability Centre Leader, Managing Director – Global Wealth, Fraud, Operations & Regulatory Compliance Data and Analytics, Director: Head of Analytics and Information Management for Global Wealth, Fraud and Operations, and Director: Head of Global Decision Management, APAC & EMEA. His progression within Citi reflects a strong and sustained leadership journey across analytics, AI, decision management, and global capability building.
Earlier, he spent more than a decade with Absolutdata Analytics, where he served as Vice President: Head of Products and Solutions, Director: Head of Products & Solutions, Associate Director, Senior Manager – Analytics, and Manager – Analytics. Prior to that, he worked with GENPACT LLC as Assistant Manager and with GE Capital International Services (GECIS) as Assistant Manager and Business Analyst. These roles shaped a long and progressive career across analytics, product development, AI solutions, and business intelligence leadership.
Academically, Titir Pal holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. He is also a member of NASSCOM’s AI/ML Special Interest Group and is frequently invited to speak on topics including data science, marketing, and product management. In addition, he has been recognized among the AI Makers 100, a listing that honors the top 100 analytics and AI leaders in India. These achievements further underline his standing in the analytics and AI ecosystem.
With a distinguished career across Citi, Absolutdata Analytics, GENPACT LLC, and GE Capital International Services, Titir Pal brings deep expertise in analytics, data science, AI, and leadership development to his new role. His appointment as Head of Analytics and Information Management is expected to further strengthen Citi India’s data-driven capabilities and support its global analytics agenda.
