Winchester, Virginia, United States, February 2026 – Trex Company has announced the appointment of Irene Tasi to its Board of Directors, strengthening the company’s strategic leadership as it continues to capitalize on long-term growth opportunities in the outdoor living category.
Welcoming Irene to the Board, Bryan H. Fairbanks, President and CEO of Trex, noted that throughout her career she has consistently leveraged technology and digital capabilities to enhance operational efficiency, commercial excellence, and customer experience. He added that her proven track record of strategic execution and driving sustained, profitable growth will be a significant asset as Trex advances its growth agenda.
Irene currently serves as Chief Transformation Officer at PPG, where she leads enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. She previously held senior leadership roles at PPG, including SVP Global Industrial Coatings and Chief Growth Officer, driving global commercial strategy and operational performance.
Prior to PPG, Irene was President of Kichler Lighting, where she led business transformation and growth initiatives. Her earlier experience includes executive leadership roles at Masco Cabinetry and Masco Corporation, spanning marketing, investor relations, finance shared services, ERP systems, and operational excellence programs. Across these roles, she has demonstrated strong expertise in digital transformation, commercial leadership, and enterprise performance improvement.
With her broad cross-functional leadership experience across transformation, growth strategy, finance, marketing, and operations, Irene brings deep governance and strategic capability to Trex’s Board as the company continues to innovate and expand its leadership in sustainable composite decking solutions.
