Bursa, Türkiye, August 2025 – Uğur Çoruh has joined Akyapak as Chief People & Culture Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s global human resources and cultural strategy, supporting Akyapak’s mission to empower industries with world-class machinery and engineering solutions. His appointment signals a strong commitment to people excellence and organizational transformation within the business.
Prior to joining Akyapak, Uğur held dual roles at LOSEV – Losemili Çocuklar Sağlık ve Eğitim Vakfı, first as Human Resources Coordinator and then as Turkey General Coordinator, where he oversaw national-level HR functions for the foundation dedicated to supporting children with leukemia and their families.
Before that, he was Head of HR & Administration at Zülfikârlar Holding A.Ş., where he was responsible for human resources, organizational development, and internal communications across the Group’s gas, oil, chemical, and finance businesses.
Earlier, he served as Human Resources Director at CFN Kimya, and prior to that as CHRO at Webhelp, leading HR for large-scale service and industrial businesses. He also worked as CHRO at TORUN METAL, a global manufacturer serving industries from automotive to industrial goods, where he led HR, internal communication, employee health and safety, and corporate learning across multiple countries.
Uğur’s global HR experience also includes serving as General Manager at JR CAPE Group, leading transformation projects, and as HR Director at ATU Duty Free, where he managed HR across six countries. He also held senior HR leadership roles at LG Electronics, MediaMarkt Turkey, and Praktiker Türkiye, where he contributed to strategic HR implementation, international expansion, and competency management systems.
His early career spans impactful roles at Siemens, Egebank, and Middle East Technical University, where he contributed to performance management systems, HR process automation, and training programs. Across three decades, he has built a strong reputation for driving large-scale organizational change, strategic HR design, and global leadership development.
