Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – ASK Private Wealth has announced the appointment of Umesh Balani as Chief Business Officer and Head of Wealth Management, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its wealth advisory and family office offerings for India’s ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
Umesh Balani brings close to three decades of leadership experience in private banking and wealth management to his new role at ASK Private Wealth. In his current appointment, he is responsible for leading business strategy, driving growth across wealth management portfolios, strengthening client relationships, and building long-term value creation frameworks for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.
Prior to joining ASK Private Wealth, Umesh served as Head – Private Wealth Management at ICICI Securities, where he led national private wealth operations, strengthened advisory platforms, and expanded UHNI client coverage across India.
Earlier, he spent over two decades with ICICI Bank as Zonal Head – Private Banking, playing a critical role in building large private banking portfolios, mentoring relationship management teams, and strengthening premium client advisory models across major geographies.
He began his professional career at Genius Consultant as Manager – Placements, building early experience in business operations and client relationship management.
Umesh Balani holds a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management from the Institute of Management & Information Science, Bhubaneswar.
