Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Upendra Gadre has been appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Veedol, bringing over three decades of financial leadership experience across manufacturing, automotive, petrochemicals, and industrial sectors. In his new role, he will oversee financial strategy, cost optimization, and profitability while driving the company’s business expansion and operational efficiency.
Before joining Veedol, Upendra Gadre served as Executive Vice President – Corporate Finance at Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., where he played a key role in supporting business verticals, financial digitization, and corporate finance strategies. His contributions significantly enhanced profitability and streamlined financial operations.
Prior to that, he had a distinguished 18-year tenure at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd., where he held various senior roles, including Interim Group CFO, Group Vice President Finance, and Chief Financial Officer for key joint ventures. During this period, he successfully led finance transformation, financial shared services setup, international financial process integration, mergers & acquisitions, and investment strategies. His strategic financial leadership contributed to expansion and revenue growth across multiple business units.
Earlier, he worked at DGP Hinoday Industries Ltd. as Head – Planning and Accounts, playing a key role in setting up and stabilizing financial operations for a greenfield automotive castings unit. He also held finance positions at Grindwell Norton Ltd., managing financial reporting, product costing, and budgetary controls.
With his deep expertise in financial structuring, business strategy, and cost management, Upendra Gadre is set to drive Veedol’s financial growth and global business expansion.
