Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Vaibhav Bhandari has been named Senior Vice President at Edelweiss Alternatives, stepping into his new role this month. Vaibhav’s extensive experience in risk management and internal audits positions him well to lead Edelweiss Alternatives’ strategic initiatives.
Vaibhav has been with Edelweiss Alternatives for over six years. Prior to his current role, he served as Associate Director for 2 years, where he focused on internal audits, enterprise risk management, and process engineering. He also held the position of Corporate Controller for 2 years and 2 months, where he was responsible for overseeing risk assessments, internal control implementation, and MIS.
Before that, Vaibhav was a Vice President for 2 years and 1 month, where he managed enterprise risk management and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Prior to joining Edelweiss Alternatives, Vaibhav was the Senior Manager – Risk Assurance at Crompton Greaves for 3 years and 9 months. In this role, he specialized in enterprise risk management, process engineering, and business process re-engineering.
Vaibhav also served as a Manager – Risk Management at Apraava Energy for 4 years and 11 months, where he developed and implemented risk management strategies and internal control systems.
Earlier in his career, Vaibhav was a Consultant – Business Advisory at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services for 4 years and 2 months. He began his career as an Executive Assistant (Finance) at Century Enka Limited, gaining experience in financial reporting and process engineering.
