Lomé, Maritime Region, Togo, June 2025 – Vaibhav Talkhedkar has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at EVAME SARL, where he now leads the group’s comprehensive human capital strategy supporting continued growth and diversification across West and Central Africa. In this role, Vaibhav is responsible for building people capabilities and aligning talent strategy with the Group’s mission to be a driving force in Africa’s industrial and economic transformation.
Previously, Vaibhav served as Head – HR and Admin at Arihant Industrial Corporation Limited in Mumbai for over five years. He managed the HR and Admin functions, overseeing industrial relations, statutory compliance, and talent development. His leadership was pivotal in driving employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, and streamlining HR operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Earlier, Vaibhav spent more than a decade at Globus, where as Manager – HR & Admin he spearheaded PAN-India HR operations, including recruitment, compensation management, manpower planning, and HR management for a vast retail network. He was responsible for HR operations across 43 stores in 10 states, supporting over 1,300 employees and leading several organizational growth initiatives.
Vaibhav’s career began with roles at Ajanta Pharma Ltd as Officer – Personnel, where he gained hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced industrial setting, and at Goodyear Tyres as Retainer – General Administration, ISO 9001 & 14001, further strengthening his foundations in HR systems, administration, and process excellence.
Vaibhav holds a Certificate Course in Senior Leadership (Organizational Leadership) from XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, and a PGDBM in HR from Prin. L.N. Wellingkar Institute Of Management Development, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and leadership development.
