Long Beach, California, United States, June 2026 — Valar Atomics has appointed Taylor Rahlfs as Director of Talent, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its mission to scale nuclear energy solutions for heavy industrial power, data centers, hydrogen production, and clean hydrocarbon fuels.
In her new role, Taylor will lead talent acquisition and workforce growth initiatives across the organization, supporting the company’s ambitious expansion plans and helping build the talent infrastructure required to scale advanced nuclear energy operations. She will focus on attracting specialized engineering, manufacturing, technical, and leadership talent while strengthening recruitment strategies aligned with Valar Atomics’ long-term growth objectives.
Prior to joining Valar Atomics, Taylor spent more than six years at Relativity Space, where she most recently served as Manager, Technical Recruiting. In this role, she led a team of 13 technical recruiters and sourcers while developing hiring strategies across manufacturing, engineering, software, supply chain, quality, infrastructure, legal, finance, and people functions. During her tenure, she successfully led recruiting strategies that resulted in more than 520 hires within a nine-month period.
Earlier, she served as Lead, Technical Recruiting and Senior Technical Recruiter at Relativity Space, helping scale the organization from approximately 80 employees to more than 1,000 employees over three years. She played a pivotal role in building critical engineering, manufacturing, propulsion, additive manufacturing, and technical teams that supported the company’s growth and innovation objectives.
Before joining Relativity Space, Taylor worked as a Recruiter at Thrive Market, where she supported hiring across supply chain, operations, finance, accounting, legal, marketing, merchandising, business development, and technology functions. Earlier in her career, she held roles with Brighter and the World Affairs Council of Northern California, gaining experience in project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development.
With extensive experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition strategy, workforce scaling, leadership hiring, and organizational growth, Taylor brings significant expertise to her new role at Valar Atomics.
