Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Vandana Mehra has joined Mondelēz International as People Lead Sales, bringing with her over two decades of rich experience in HR strategy, sales capability building, and organizational transformation across global markets. In her new role, Vandana will lead people strategies for the sales function, aligning talent development with business growth in one of the world’s leading snacking companies.
Before joining Mondelēz, Vandana spent over 17 years at PepsiCo, where she most recently served as Senior Director – Commercial Capability. She was instrumental in driving sales learning strategy across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and China. Her role involved spearheading sales process transformation, enabling presell models, and strengthening capability development through a blend of innovative instructional design, automation, and strategic execution.
Her earlier roles at PepsiCo include Director Sales Capability based in Dubai, Sr. Manager Sales Training, HR Manager – North BU, and Talent Acquisition Manager, reflecting her diverse contributions across HR and commercial capability functions. Throughout her tenure, she led large-scale organizational design, transformation initiatives, and training innovation, earning multiple Brandon Hall awards for excellence in learning design and deployment.
Prior to PepsiCo, Vandana held key positions in organizational development and training at Aon, Airtel, Hewlett-Packard, and Targus, building foundational expertise in performance analytics, training impact, and employee lifecycle management. Her early career was marked by driving training agendas across pan-India business units and managing large field workforces.
