Kolkata, West Bengal, India, January 2026 — Vasudha Rungta Goenka has been elevated to the role of Zonal Recruitment Head – East at ICICI Bank, marking a significant progression in her leadership journey with the bank. In her expanded role, she will lead recruitment strategy and talent acquisition delivery across the East zone, with a focus on driving hiring excellence, strengthening workforce pipelines, and supporting business growth across the region.
Vasudha has been associated with ICICI Bank for over seven years and has contributed across multiple human resources leadership assignments. Prior to this elevation, she served in senior HR roles including Senior Human Resources Manager and Chief Manager – Human Resources, where she led Employee Relations for the East Zone and was part of the POSH and Associate Leadership HR teams. Her responsibilities spanned employee relations, policy governance, stakeholder engagement, and leadership advisory across the zone.
Earlier in her career, Vasudha worked with ZS Associates as a Business Operations Associate, gaining exposure to analytics-driven business processes and client operations. She also held roles at ABB as a Management Trainee, where she was involved in process design, cost estimation, and manufacturing transitions, and at VSA Print Solutions, where she managed production operations and labor supervision. She further strengthened her organizational development and social responsibility experience through assignments with Cummins India Ltd and Tata Housing Development Company Limited, contributing to OD process standardization, community engagement, and CSR initiatives.
Vasudha holds an MBA in Human Resources from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, where she was actively involved in student leadership bodies, university councils, and HR-focused initiatives, laying a strong foundation for her career in human resources and talent leadership.
