Vectra AI Welcomes Jeff Reed as Chief Product Officer

Vectra AI, Inc., an innovator in hybrid attack detection, investigation, and response, announced Jeff Reed as the Chief Product Officer. This appointment highlights a significant phase of expansion for Vectra AI, propelled by the innovative launches of the Vectra® AI platform and Vectra MXDR, the first-of-its-kind global, 24×7 open MXDR service.

“Jeff brings diverse expertise and rich experience to our team at a time when AI is redefining how we detect threats and prioritize attacks,” said Hitesh Sheth, President and CEO of Vectra AI. “I look forward to working closely with Jeff as we continue to set the new standard for threat detection and response while helping teams manage and reduce their growing workloads.”

The introduction of the Chief Product Officer role at Vectra AI aims to consolidate and enhance the company’s product strategy against the evolving backdrop of hybrid threats. In this role, Reed will direct product strategy encompassing engineering, product management, and customer support initiatives. He will also refine operational strategies and deliver key strategic directions to enhance product value.

Reed transitions to Vectra AI from Google Cloud™, where he held the position of VP of Product for Cloud Security. His robust experience includes leading product development for Google’s Kubernetes® Engine and Anthos™, and a transformative tenure at Cisco, where he managed the enterprise networking business. Reed’s extensive background also includes leadership roles at Symantec, focusing on product development and business alliances.
