United States, April 2026 — KnowBe4 has announced Veena Bricker as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Her appointment adds an experienced people leader to the company as it continues to expand its AI-driven human risk management platform and strengthen its global workforce strategy.
Before joining KnowBe4, Veena Bricker served briefly as Chief People Officer (Interim) at Patriot Growth Insurance Services, LLC. Prior to that, she was Chief People Officer at Flexential, where she led the people strategy during a major phase of business transformation. During her five-year tenure, she helped support strong EBITDA and revenue growth, led cultural transformation, built a scalable HR function, drove C-level succession and onboarding, modernized HR systems, and developed human capital dashboards reviewed regularly with the Board. She also helped reduce medical benefit costs and advanced DEIB and ESG roadmaps aligned with investor expectations.
Earlier, Veena Bricker was Principal & Managing Director at Blake Street Group, where she partnered with investors, boards, and CEOs on leadership challenges including human capital due diligence, organizational readiness, and executive development. Before that, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Optiv Inc, where she led human capital integration during a merger of two equally sized competitors, supported business scaling beyond $2 billion in revenue, prepared the HR function for an IPO path, reduced attrition, and oversaw multiple M&A integrations and large-scale hiring.
Prior to Optiv, she held the role of CHRO / Senior Vice President Human Resources at CoreSite, where she partnered with the Board Compensation Committee and supported major growth in revenue and headcount. Earlier, at Avaya, she led global employee communications and talent management, including executive development, succession planning, and employee engagement, and played a key role in the Nortel acquisition integration involving thousands of employees across 40 countries. She also served as CHRO / Head of Human Resources at McDATA, Senior Director, Human Resources at Qwest Cyber Solutions, Director, HR Operations & Customer Segmentation at StorageTek, Director, Human Resources at US West now Qwest, Manager, Management Resources & Foreign Service Development at Whirlpool Corporation, and Manager, Human Resources at Baxter Healthcare.
Her career reflects deep and sustained leadership across human resources, organizational transformation, executive hiring, talent strategy, M&A integration, culture building, and board-level people governance. With experience spanning cybersecurity, technology, infrastructure, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, and global business environments, Veena Bricker brings a broad and accomplished leadership profile to her new role at KnowBe4.
