Veena KrishnaMurthy Appointed Deputy General Manager at Al Shirawi Facilities Management

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 2026 — Al Shirawi Facilities Management has appointed Veena KrishnaMurthy as Deputy General Manager, in addition to her current responsibilities as Head of Human Resources. In her expanded leadership role, she will continue to lead the organization’s people strategy while contributing to broader business operations and organizational growth.

Veena KrishnaMurthy has been a key leader within the Al Shirawi Group for over a decade. Since becoming Head of Human Resources in 2022, she has led strategic HR initiatives spanning talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, leadership development, workforce planning, and HR transformation across the business. Prior to that, she served as Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager, supporting more than 1,600 employees while driving business partnering, change management, restructuring, compliance, and people capability initiatives.

Alongside her leadership at Al Shirawi Facilities Management, Veena has also served as Head of Human Resources at Al Shirawi Fire Fighting Systems, contributing to HR strategy across another key business within the Al Shirawi Group.

Before joining the Al Shirawi Group, Veena was HR Manager at London Business Group, where she established the HR function for the hospitality and restaurant business, developed HR strategies, implemented policies and processes, and led people initiatives supporting more than 300 employees.

Earlier in her career, she worked as an HR Consultant with Jairamdas Group, advising on HR policies, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.

She also held HR and training roles with SNTTA Cargo and NADIA Training, Recruitment and Management Consultants, before beginning her professional journey as a Lecturer at Oxford College of Pharmacy, where she taught pharmacy subjects and coordinated industry engagement initiatives.

Veena KrishnaMurthy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from Indian Institute Of Business Management And Studies.
