Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, April 2026 – Venkatesh Thenkarai has been appointed as Chief Digital Officer – Global Services Business at Bahwan CyberTek, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating digital innovation and strengthening its global technology leadership.
In this role, Venkatesh Thenkarai will lead Technology Practices and Delivery, with a mandate to scale AI-driven capabilities, enhance digital transformation initiatives, and drive operational excellence across global markets. His appointment reflects Bahwan CyberTek’s strategic focus on building next-generation capabilities in AI, cloud, and enterprise transformation.
Prior to joining Bahwan CyberTek, Venkatesh Thenkarai served as Chief Delivery Officer (Corporate SVP, WNS Technology Services) at WNS Global Services, where he led large-scale, multi-tower technology deals and spearheaded AI-led transformation initiatives, including the integration of agentic AI into enterprise platforms and solutions.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at Ciklum, including Country Head – India and Head of Engineering and Delivery, where he played a key role in building and scaling the India engineering hub. He successfully established AI and cloud-native practices, scaled teams significantly, and drove customer-centric technology investments.
He also spent over a decade with Cognizant, where he held multiple leadership positions including Assistant Vice President, Client Partner, and Director – Quality Engineering and Assurance. During this time, he led large delivery teams, managed global client engagements, and built strong capabilities in hybrid cloud, enterprise delivery, and program management.
With over 28 years of global experience, Venkatesh Thenkarai brings deep expertise in engineering leadership, hyperscaler technologies, AI transformation, and large-scale delivery management.
