New York, United States, January 2025 – Veracelle Vega has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Prose, where she will lead people strategy, organizational culture, and talent development initiatives. In this role, she will drive employee engagement, diversity, and workplace innovation, contributing to Prose’s continued growth as a leader in the custom beauty industry.
Before joining Prose, Veracelle served as Senior Vice President, People + Culture at CAMP, where she played a key role in scaling HR operations and enhancing employee experience for the high-growth experiential retail company. She was responsible for organizational design, leadership development, and fostering a strong workplace culture.
Prior to CAMP, she was Chief People Officer at Boxed, leading people strategy, talent management, and HR transformation at the e-commerce platform. Under her leadership, Boxed was recognized as a Best Place to Work in 2023, reinforcing her expertise in building high-performing teams and inclusive workplaces.
She also served as Chief People Officer at Resident, a direct-to-consumer home goods brand, where she helped scale the company’s workforce and enhance its employer brand. During her tenure, Resident received multiple Best Places to Work awards and successfully navigated a period of rapid growth leading up to its acquisition by Ashley Furniture.
Veracelle has also held key HR leadership roles at Clarifai, Madison Logic, 21st Century Fox, and News Corp, demonstrating her deep expertise in executive coaching, organizational development, and workforce planning across various industries. Additionally, she continues to contribute to the academic field as an Adjunct Faculty member at Villanova University, teaching graduate-level human capital management courses.
