In her new role, Veronica will oversee the company’s HR operations, payroll systems, and people experience strategy, driving efficiency, innovation, and engagement across the organization as it continues its national growth journey.
With more than two decades of experience in human resources, payroll, and people operations, Veronica A. brings deep expertise in workforce transformation, process optimization, and digital innovation across both corporate and government sectors in Australia.
Most recently, she served as Director of People & Culture Operations and Payroll at CyberCX, where she led large-scale people operations and payroll transformation initiatives that improved process efficiency, system integration, and employee experience across a fast-growing cybersecurity enterprise. Her focus on digital innovation helped streamline HR functions, aligning operational excellence with CyberCX’s rapid expansion.
Before CyberCX, Veronica was Payroll and HRIS Manager at Life-Space Group, where she drove the digitalization of HR systems and automation of payroll processes, ensuring compliance and operational integrity. Earlier, during her tenure at Melbourne Water, she held multiple leadership roles including Human Resources Services Manager and Project Manager – People Data and HR Process Efficiencies, where she successfully led the integration of payroll and recruitment systems, implemented automated workflows, and modernized HR processes to improve data accuracy and agility.
Veronica’s earlier career includes extensive leadership experience at organizations such as the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Aussie Farmers Direct, One Group Retail Experience, and Fisher & Paykel Appliances. Across these roles, she managed end-to-end payroll operations for large workforces, led HRIS implementations, and established customer-focused HR service cultures. Her early experience at Grant Thornton Australia, Mainfreight, and City West Water further strengthened her foundational expertise in payroll governance and enterprise agreements.
