Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 2025 — Flybondi, Argentina’s pioneering low-cost airline, has announced the appointment of Veronica Funes as its new Chief People Officer. In this strategic role, Veronica will lead the airline’s people and culture agenda, focusing on workforce strategy, organizational efficiency, and employee experience. She will continue to hold her existing responsibilities as HR Regional Manager at OCP TECH, where she oversees HR operations across Latin America and the United States.
With over two decades of experience across aviation, technology, and life sciences, Veronica brings exceptional expertise in HR transformation, regional talent management, and organizational development. Her appointment at Flybondi comes at a crucial time as the airline continues to expand operations and strengthen its people-first approach while maintaining efficiency — the cornerstone of its low-cost model.
Career Journey
Before joining Flybondi, Veronica served as HR Regional Manager at OCP TECH, managing HR operations across eight countries including Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and the U.S. She led major initiatives such as establishing new HR structures, launching OCP TECH University, implementing automation processes, and achieving Inclusive Company Certification.
Earlier, she was the Managing Director at 7010 Group, where she provided consulting and training solutions on digital transformation, cultural change, and telework implementation for diverse organizations. Veronica also worked with Argentina’s Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, where she coordinated national telework initiatives and co-authored the country’s first White Book on Teleworking.
Previously, she held HR leadership roles at Biosidus, PharmaNet/i3, Diaverum, and Sandoz, where she managed compensation and benefits, change management, and performance systems across Latin America. Her early experience at Eli Lilly and Company laid the foundation for her long-standing career in HR, where she managed policies, communication programs, and regional HR operations.
