Colorado, United States, December 2024 – Veronica Setzke has been appointed as the Director of Human Resources at Altvia, a leading technology innovator for private capital markets. Veronica will lead Altvia’s HR strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and optimizing people operations to support the company’s continued growth and innovation.
Veronica brings extensive experience in HR leadership and people operations. Prior to joining Altvia, she served at Pax8 in several leadership roles, including Vice President of Employee Experience and People Systems, where she enhanced employee engagement and implemented systems to streamline HR processes. Over nearly five years, she played a pivotal role in building a robust people-first culture.
Before Pax8, Veronica was People Ops Manager at ProtectWise, Inc. (acquired by Verizon), where she contributed to the company’s talent management initiatives during a period of high growth. She also worked as an Employee Success Business Partner at FiveStars, where she implemented HR strategies to enhance the employee experience.
Earlier in her career, Veronica spent over nine years at Mile High United Way, rising to the position of Human Resources Generalist, where she successfully reduced first-year turnover rates and implemented onboarding programs aligned with strategic goals. Her academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Strategic Human Resources from the University of Denver, further showcasing her dedication to advancing HR practices.
